linda MalsbaryPresident's Welcome

Welcome, we are American Legion Auxiliary Unit 164, Katy.
We are delighted that you are interested in finding out more about one of the largest veteran support groups in the United States of America! The American Legion Auxiliary has been dedicated to serving veterans, military and their families for over 100 years. Auxiliary members exemplify Service Not Self through countless volunteer hours, programs, conferences and an increased presence in Washington, D.C. Although things have changed since our establishment in 1919, the one thing to remain the same is our unwavering commitment to honor those who serve. For God and Country we advocate for veterans, educate our citizens, mentor youth, and promote patriotism, good citizenship, peace and security.
Jonathan D. Rozier Unit 164 Katy is still a young unit and we have the honor of creating something very special. Members have joined for many different reasons but together we are the American Legion Auxiliary and we are here to make a difference. Please consider joining us if you have a military connection in your family- Grandmother, mother, sister or spouse of those that served or are a Legion Member, or you are a veteran! Your mission as a member is to identify where you fit, what your interests are and get started! It may take some effort but you will find your place and enjoy the service and friendship of a stellar group of members.
Please attend one of our unit meetings on the third Wednesday of every month at the Legion Post at 22125 Kingsland Blvd. Katy TX 77450 at 7:00 PM where we coordinate our programs and plan our calendar for the following months. We also meet at the Elks Lodge in Katy on the first Saturday of every month for Breakfast with a Veteran - a $10 all-you-can-eat breakfast organized by the Post, the Auxiliary and the Elks where members of the public and their families are very welcome.
Throughout the year there are many individual events and programs going on, so please check the schedule on our website and come and join us, we would be delighted to see you. If you click on an event in the calendar, it will expand and show you further details. Hope to see you soon!

Sincerely,
Linda Malsbary
